Menu Plan Monday -26 August 2013

Ugh, so humid yesterday.  It’s 7am today and humid already again.

Menu Plan Monday is late today.  Yesterday I realized that it was grocery day.  I had to throw together a grocery list and head out the door.  The humidity (and threatening rain clouds) made for a miserable shopping day.

My sister and her husband are coming up this weekend, so we have something to look forward to -despite the heat.  Let’s hope we can get the pool heated back up.  It’s really cooled off at night the last week or so and the pool is chilly (for me anyway).  Here’s this week’s menu.

Monday:

Tuesday:

chicken sandwiches

pork pie (I use my Bavarian beef pie and use the cut up leftover roast pork) -if I didn’t have the puff pastry already thawed I’d make something else.  I didn’t realize it was going to be hot and sticky today too.

Wednesday:

BBQ pizza

?? -maybe a make up dance lesson and Daddy feed himself

Thursday:

pizza

leftover pork pie

Friday:

bacon and tomato sandwich/egg and bacon sandwich for the unfortunate tomato haters

chicken burger

Saturday:

??

BBQ roast beef

Sunday:

hot beef
