This is the last week of dance class. Ella's going to miss seeing all her little friends. Dress rehearsal's on Sunday. It will be fun to see the routine all put together.
We're having a bit of attitude issues today. Ella's choice is get dressed or clean up some (to get other stuff out), her desired option is to play and not get dressed at all. She says she's not going to talk to me for the rest of her life. That won't even last till the end of this post :)

It's best to nip that little attitude now... Little attitudes grow ten fold at about age 10 is girlies... I know from experience. My Little Miss Attitude is now 22- she's had some grand moments through the years!!!!
One more, on the Scotish Bridies {I just looked it up as it was knew to me...} Or anything that recipe that is similar do you make the pastry crust or do you buy it premade? If you make it what recipe do you use?
We still have a few weeks of dance {goes until mid June} can't wait to se pics of Ella in her costume!!!
Yes, she was on the stairs (time out space) a couple times this morning. Then she announced she wasn't going to talk to me. I said 'that's fine'. Next thing I knew she was quietly getting dressed and then tidied up :)
The Bridies is actually a new recipe. It comes with a pastry recipe (lard based). I'll try it as written this first time. If it didn't come with the pastry recipe I'd just use a regular pastry (but leave out most of the sugar).
