Menu Plan Monday -26 July 2010

Yesterday was beautiful.  Bright, sunny, warm and not humid.  I would be happy if it would stay that way all summer.  I even needed a light cover in bed -perfect summer weather.  Not too much planned this week.  I do need to get laundry done, chase spiders and dust bunnies and bake bread, dog bones, and cookies, but other than that not much  :)  

Great news, we were at the hospital yesterday getting Colin's dressing changed and it's nearly closed.  The nurse even said he could likely even go in the pool towards the end of the week!!!!  Really great news since it's supposed to get hot and sticky again this week.

Monday:
chili mac -crock pot
leftover ribs


Tuesday:
egg and ham savouries
leftover roast beef


Wednesday:
Daddy on crop tour so easy lunch for us girls
hamburgers with homemade buns


Thursday:    Knit Night
leftover hamburgers
beef stew -from freezer, I may make dumplings too


Friday:   Market

caramelized onion chicken -crock pot


Saturday:
American chili
creole pork chops


Sunday:
Going to my uncle's cottage to celebrate my Grandma's 80th birthday.  It's great when they go to the cottage because it's only 2 hours from home instead of the 4 it usually takes to get to Bowmanville.  We're bringing pork chops for the barbecue.
