Another fairly quiet week -so far any way. Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm planning on cooking the meal because I haven't been told we are going out. Grandma will be here so at least I won't have to do the dishes :)
Monday:
hot dogs and potato chips
dance -leftover chicken pie
Tuesday: My 39th Birthday!!
subs from Subway
Russian brisket with roasted potatoes
Wednesday:
spaghetti and meatballs
HST meeting -leftover brisket
Thursday:
brisket on buns
knit night -hamburgers on cheesy onion buns -yummy, the only thing I will mention is that if you make them in the bread machine don't add the cheese and onions until the kneading is almost finished. Or else you won't see either.
Friday:
french onion soup and mac and cheese for the people who don't know good soup when they taste it :)
Bev's chicken and dumplings -Daddy suggestion
Saturday:
steak sandwiches from Pioneer Woman -yuuuuummy!
leftover chicken and dumplings
Sunday: Mother's Day
leftover hamburgers
coke ham from Nigella Lawson with scalloped potatoes
-the ham was good, but I don't think I'd waste the Coke again. It's better in my glass than on my roast :)

Happy, happy birthday, Paula! You are just one year older than my daughter! Hope you have a wonderful day! I will be over to share your french onion soup -- I love it! As usual, your menu sounds awesome! You make such nice meals! Does your family know how lucky they are?!
Ella doesn't think she's too lucky. She'd be happier if I made her plain pasta every night :) Colin is happy, he really likes that I cook meat properly not like the 'old lady cooking' (his words not mine) that he was use to.
Come on up, I'll put another bowl in the oven :)
